Thanks to all those who replied as I've now been convinced that overall it isn't worth the expense. Especially at €300.

I will wait until I get lucky and invited to the VIP area when the club is extra busy. I will be at the club on Friday but Unfortunately due to CV I'm not expecting it will be especially busy.
